About Aravind Subramanyam

                 “Sastha Aravind” as he is called fondly, a Scorpio by birth, was born to Sri. S.Venkatraman and Smt. Rama. Hailing from the famous South Indian Manchester town of  Coimbatore (more known as Kovai), a fledgling city in Tamilnadu in India. His grandfather - the famous and the revered Ayyappa devotee Sri.CV.Srinivasa Iyer was the one who started the Pankuni Uthram festival at Shabarimalai.  Childhood vacations spent with 'Thatha' (grandfather)  has had a lingering influence on him. Hailing from a family rich in Art / Culture  and Languages - his other grandfather had built a temple for Lord Sastha  which imbibed these values at a tender age.

His father a businessman by profession, trained the young boy into mastering the finer aspects of commerce and business.  Aravind received his MBA degree in HR as a field of specialization and also an Inter in ICWA from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He is the Managing Partner and also a corporate trainer in the concern called Mind Games.

 

        Since he was brought up in comparatively free environment, it fired his ambitions to be different  and instilled a confidence level seldom found in today's generation. . His extensive travel to many parts of the country gave him a great treasure called experience.

                 This is the reason, Aravind’s lectures and Divine Quiz shows is popular both among the older generation - with his depth of knowledge on various subjects, and the youth - for his penchant for new progressive ideas and modern technology.

                 His Guru is Shri Seshadri Swamigal of Tiruvannamalai whose divine grace befell Aravind to aspire in this spiritual growth. Shri. Guruswamy, (Guru Mama) of the illustrious Shuddamalli Srividya parampara blessed him with the Upasana.

                 It is worth mentioning that he was the first writer to write a new purana in this century, a commendable and detailed work at this early age.
